Security settings question

I installed Linux Mint 14 for the first time and everything went very smoothly. Now I want to know what ports are open on my system. There is a Firewall Configuration tool which is empty. I like the "prevent everything by default unless explicitly allowed" policy.

Also, I want to prevent one user on the system accessing other user's data. What is the best way to implement this policy on Linux Mint?

Thank you.

Gibson Research. Click 'Proceed', then click 'All Service Ports'.

Code: Select all

sudo netstat -ntuple
