One key requirement for me in installing Mint 13 desktop will be to run VirtualBox on it. Does it matter which Mint GUI I pick (Cinnamon, Mate, Xfce, or whatever)?
My guess is that it does not, but I thought it wise to ask before putting a lot of time for installing, testing, etc. My understanding that I should install VirtualBox using the deb files for Ubuntu 12.04.
Thank you for your advice.
PS-- I'm an Ubuntu refugee... I support some 10.04 systems that are going out of support and my users couldn't stomach the Unity interface on 12.04, so it's Mint for us now. The web site, doc, forums, everything here looks great. Thanks so much for this option!
