Linux Mint 14, Cinnamon Wireless connection issues

Postby Xerox883 on Sat Mar 23, 2013 5:29 pm

I have Linux running on a separate partition on my windows 7 Home Premium and a Realtek Wireless-N USB 2.0 adapter and the drivers seemed to have installed correctly (although I have no idea if they have and I'm beginning to think that somehow they only partially installed?).

It was working fine until I shut it down and booted it back up. Now it will recognize the available WiFi connections and attempt to connect. The reason I say 'attempt' is because it asks for me to authenticate it 5 or 6 times, over a time period of several minutes, then fails. I've read and tried countless possible solutions, but not one has helped. If anyone needs any additional information just let me know.
