Adjusting screen res of dualboot screen

I have a dualboot system installed. When I reboot I get a screen that allows me to make my OS choice. How can I adjust the resolution. The font is tiny so I want to change to a much lower res. Usint Mint Nadia 64bit on a T61 Thinkpad with a 15.4" screen.

Thanks amillion. I just followed the terminal-command instructions from your link and it is perfect.

I've been using Grub Customizer for a while and want to know how to take out the automatic timer count down. Can it be done editing the grub file in /etc/default? If so, how?

It's on the general settings tab. Set it to 0. To get the menu you'll have to hold down the shift key as grub starts up.
Can it be done editing the grub file in /etc/default? If so, how?
You can edit grub.cfg, if you really must, but I recommend against it.
