Shift cancels Caps Lock

Postby roblevy on Wed Apr 03, 2013 5:49 pm

Hi Linux Mint users,

in Ubuntu, as I understand it, there's an option in the keyboard layout settings like this:

Code: Select all
shift:breaks_caps   Shift cancels Caps Lock

(see this posting on an Ubuntu forum for more info: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=2131403&p=12587011#post12587011).

This option doesn't seem to be in the Linux Mint Keyboard Layout Options dialog. Does anyone know where I might find it? (Come to think of it, why should this dialog it be different from Ubuntu?)

Many thanks,
Rob

Linux Mint is funded by ads and donations.

Wait! I've found it!

It's under "Miscellaneous compatibility options" (is this the right place for it?!?)
