Connecting Samsung Galaxy Note II to Linux Mint 14

Postby CelticStorm on Mon Apr 15, 2013 2:23 pm

Hello there,
As the Title says I want to connect my Galaxy Note II to my Computer and I'm using Linux Mint 14 shortly. However, when I connect the Cell Phone with my computer I can't mount it. So basically I can't do a thing with it.
Unfortunatly I'm absolutely new to Linux. I found something called "jmtpfs" and "go-mtpfs" and read that one of those should solve my problem. But I have no idea what i have to do to get one of them running on my system :? . I hope you can help me or tell me a simpler way to connect my phone via usb

Linux Mint is funded by ads and donations.
