getting online
I just installed Linux Mint 14.1 on my laptop and I can't get online, if I go back to windows wireless works fine. please help.

maybe you need to install the wireless drivers.
connect using an ethernet cable and run the command in the terminal
restart the laptop and see if wireless works.
