can Mint live among other linux distro in peace?

I wanted to install a few linux distro including Mint in my HD, is it possible to do that without having to change the bootloader?

Whatever distro you install last will take over the MBR. It should in theory account for all other distros on the PC and add them into the menu.lst file, and you should have your choice of distro on the boot screen. In practice sometimes you have to edit the menu.lst file as it does not always configure correctly.

Usually, distributions that use GRUB play nicely along with each other. What is the other distro you want to run along side Mint?
