Code: Select all
in a terminal to set up your wine profile. Then just install apps. They will appear in the menu under wine.

Assume you have installed wine..., if not you can install wine from synaptic (search for wine). Also I use a tool called wine-doors which helps in installing apps on wine. This also should be available on synaptic. If not you can install from synptic else you can install from svn. a search on google should tell you how to do this. There are few other tools as well which helps you with wine. It would be a better idea to get yourself familiarized with winecfg as mentioned by 67GTA. When you are there it would be a better idea to disable z: share (pointing / dir)

Hope this link helps. There is actually a ton to say about wine, but this link should be a good starting ground. Have fun.

Oh, and if you want the latest version of wine here's the link for that too (not sure if the mint repo is the latest version or not).
