usenet question

Postby Nante on Fri Jun 27, 2008 4:54 pm

I recently joined a local photography club, they share photos over usenet, the problem is the program they gave me to use is windows only and wont run under wine, I tried using thunderbird (as a post I found on google suggested) but when I try and view the posts the photos shows up as a garbage text string, no one at the club uses linux and their suggestion of "buying windows" just doesn't appeal to me for some reason :D anyone know what to do?

Try using Pan for viewing binary files on usenet.
