Say, I have downloaded it to USB, and the file(s) must be of certain format(s).
Then how do I install it from USB to the Linux Mint, I mean the step by step of the command lines I should type at terminal.

Gonna bump this along for you as I am also new to Linux and was thinking of Windows so no experience installing from command.
That having been said, the link you provided seems to indicate (when it went in) that the driver for the card (unless VERY old) should already be in the Mint 15 installation. Have you tried following their instructions under enabling? Maybe someone else will chime in here.

This is the file I have to install in order to make my wireless network adapter works : backports-3.11-rc3.1.tar.bz2

- Forget windoze, Linux is the future and the future is in Linux, until doomsday. :) Command is powerful, 'acrobatical' and elegant.
- The driver is not yet pre-installed in Mint 15.

Du no how to follow it.

I do hope so.

Thanks anyway juicer.

That's only possible if you are connected to internet during you install the Mint, so your ndiswrapper (window wireless driver) will work . In this case it'll be easy.
I can use the ".inf" file inside the wireless driver cd window installer. In my case, I din't have internet connection during the install, because no linux compatible pre-installed drivers for both my wired and wireless NICs, so the ndiswrapper is not properly installed (probably it is not get installed at all), so I can not use that method.

Is it possible to install backports-3.11-rc3.1.tar.bz2 driver from usb into the Mint OS ? I mean manually using terminal.
Or to install a .inf window driver manually using terminal ?

Hope it helps. I am just bumping this along out of curiosity NOT expertise.
