I have an installation of vista home premium on a partition of the disk, for which i did a raw image in order to run it on virtualbox.
Followed the instructions at http://mesbalivernes.blogspot.com/2008/01/virtual-box-booting-from-existing.html which was better that what i was doing alone, so i could actually create a vmdk without actually tearing my system apart.
now, installed the machine on virtualbox, and when i run it... boom... I get crashed again against my own ignorance.
(attaching the picture of the issue)
any ideas to run the vista partition?

You need to boot your Vista DVD in the virtual machine to do a repair. Then you should be able to boot it.
