shutdown option gone

Postby ishbel535 on Sun Jul 06, 2008 3:59 am

The shutdown option has vanished from the quit dialog in my Daryna system. I can still do all the other stuff (log out etc) but if I want to turn the machine off I have to go with a hard shutdown. Can somebody please help?

To re-enable shutdown, you need to visit Menu >> Administration >> Login Window, and under the "Local" tab, enable the tick beside "Show Actions Menu".

Thanks so much for that. I had a funny feeling there was going to be a really obvious solution...
