Want to make a completely clean reinstallation (Opera)

Postby RobHK on Tue Jul 08, 2008 11:17 am

I installed Opera but my installation is a bit sticky, possibly due to me messing round with the search engine settings.

I'd like to completely reinstall from scratch, but I can't. Despite marking for complete removal, when I run the new installation the old settings are still there (eg remembered sites in the pull-down menu and History).

How can I remove all the settings and get a reinstallation as if for the first time?

Probably in your home folder. Look for a hidden folder called .opera or something similar.
