user-friendly Acronis True Image alternative for Linux

Hi, I am looking for a SIMPLE and VERY EASY to use Linux alternative for Acronis True Image.
Everybody seems to be recommending Clonezilla, which is no doubt a great tool for geeks, but absolutely NOT for me.
(I did download it and did look at it and found it entirely unusable for myself).
I do not need a secure zone. I am quite happy to use a bootable CD in case I need to restore my system.
Thanks a lot,
Sydney

Yep the one I use easy peasy and same under the hood engine as Clonezilla.
Redo Backup is 250mb iso burn and boot with.

Nice thing I use it for is backing up my Win7/Winxp/Linux partitions.
For the linux partitions I can back up / and /home to my external usb.
Then install new flavors on those partitions and get them setup and apps used.
Then back those up also. So can have many different distros that can restore in 10-20 mins.

I've used Clonezilla since few years but it's true that it will be complicated for a few days before understanding all the options !!

After reading your description of redobackup , I'll download it n' give it a try :)

Thanks for the tips guys !!

heee...
Just to know ,..., will it backup all the hdd selected or the space used when I do the backup ??
(Ex : 2Tb HDD but only 45Go used on it) ... Caus' I haven't a second 2tb HDD to put the backup on it !!
Clonezilla do the "partition" backup and the size of their backup was very very small ?!?

Thanks for your help !

[EDIT] => I just tried the Acronis true image v17.0 build 6614 (for fun)
and I do a backup of my partition ext4 , swap and mbr ...
I pluged another hdd to restore that backup and it's ok , no problem at all :)
----------------------------
And for my question , Redo make a correct backup too (with just the used space (as I asked))
and the backup/restore speed was good :)

Somehow I do not get notified of replies to my topics ??
Yes, the backup and restore speeds of Redo are just fine. I compared both Paragon and Redo on a Win7 machine, and they were on par. I was not able to compare them to Acronis as I only have an old version that does not run on Win7, but from prior experience it seems that it would be similar :-)

Hi Sydney ,
To have a notification , think it was .... , ... , ...
User control panel , board preferences , edit postings defaults , and "Notify me upon replies by default" must be on Yes (I think it was on "No" be default)
Don't forget to save ... or Submit :P

Hope it help :)
