The STLinux distribution and development tools are distributed as RPM files and must be installed on a host PC running a Linux distribution. There are many Linux distributions freely available on the Internet. Although the STLinux RPM packages can be installed on any Linux distribution, only the following 32-bit Linux Distributions are supported:
RedHat Enterprise version 4 and above
Fedora 6 and above
