Shortcut in Mint menu

Postby Migaaresno on Mon Jul 21, 2008 8:01 am

How can i add a application shortcut to the mint menu?

I already managed to add a launcher to the desktop.

Additionally, how can i add a application to the mint menu or desktop without seeing "Do you wish to display or run it"? if i try to start it.

Right-click and select "Edit Menu..."

How did you create the desktop shortcut? What program is it? Can it be that it's the program's fault? E.g. you might specify some additional command to make it "shut up". =)

For some odd reason, that application does not ask that question anymore. So all is well now.

Only 1 thing remains: What should the dimensions and extensions be for the pictures used in the mint menu? It does not accept all .svg's.
