About Linux Mint Instalation Language choice

Postby Ardanbis on Thu Jul 31, 2008 8:25 am

Hello, i acquired a cd of Linux Mint 5 Elyssa distribution and ive installed it on a desk PC and a laptop.

Both instalations proceeded the same way: Live CD starts, instalation begins, i chose spanish language and in my desk PC everything is okay everything displayed with spanish language.

But in my laptop i choosed also spanish but not everything is in spanish, for example linux mint menu is in spanish, but some elements arent like the desktop home folder, should be named "Carpeta personal de Usuario" but its named "Usuario's home" and other things like nautilus options.

I got myself a pretty mixed up language.

How can i make default Spanish?

Linux Mint is funded by ads and donations.

Is this the main edition?
Because in the xfce CE edition we have a problem that not everything is translated yet
