error at the starting of kde

Postby EricRG on Thu Jul 31, 2008 3:15 pm

I use Linux-Mint KDE CE (installed)

I have this error when the system starts : "impossible de monter le périphérique : Device not found" (I'm french)

== impossible to mount the peripheric device : not found

nothing special is connected to the computer.
only a usb mouse which works

A part from that, it works without any (other) problem .

:?: thanks

Linux Mint is funded by ads and donations.

try dmesg and go through the o/p (you can pipe the o/p to a pager like less & search for the error string). You should be able to get more details about what it was doing when it encountered the error. That may help to get details.
Don't fix it if it ain't broken, don't break it if you can't fix it -Husse
