Java not enabling?

Postby alexs on Fri Aug 01, 2008 7:17 am

I've downloaded the file. I've followed all of the instructions on the java website, typing things very carefully into the terminal - despite not understanding what any of it meant. I've checked that firefox says that java is enabled. And now? It still doesn't work. I just keep coming up against the same 'missing plugin' screen.
Help?
