Hi, i've just installed Linux Mint Elyssa last night in dualboot with windows xp.
I've got a problem with my resolution and my monitor (i have a LG L1919S).
I installed Nvidia driver with envyNG and i tried to set my screen resolution using
sudo displayconfig-gtk
.I select LG electronics....L1919S model...default monitor...and after logout...i get an error that my nvidia driver and isnt supported or something like this....so....can't change my resolution :(
Please..help me

Thank you,

Linux Mint is funded by ads and donations.

for setting display resolution, dont think you need sudo access (if done from the screen resolution menu itam).

But if you have to use nvidia way, you can try nvidia settings manager from the menu. I am at work, so am not able to get the exact name of the program. You may as well find a menu item for this.
Don't fix it if it ain't broken, don't break it if you can't fix it -Husse
