Remove Windows Vista ?

Postby RobbieGrey on Thu Aug 21, 2008 8:12 am

I had Windows Vista on my HardDrive , then added mint , so of course I can now dual boot.
Ive been using Mint (Elyssa) for the past few months and now find i dont need Vista so want to remove Vista and allow Mint to use the complete HardDrive.
Is there a "simple" way of doing this please ?

Linux Mint is funded by ads and donations.

It looks like your Linux Mint is on an extended partition, think someone said before you can't re-size those types of partitions [but I don't really know for sure either way].
Your best bet might be to back up all the data you want/need, and do a reinstall using your whole HD.
Maybe someone more knowledgeable will have something better to say.
Cheers.
