hey..could someone tell me how to reinstall mint..i have it partitioned with vista..should i just run the cd again and click install..or do i have to uninstall first ?? thanks! i dont want any data loss from the vista..ive backed up the mint so doesnt matter if it gets erased.

I have my system partitioned with Xp and another with vista. I reinstall new distros all the time and have never corrupted my windows partition.

In the partition editor make sure to only format the ext3 partition and leave the NTFS partition WELL ALONE!

If in doubt backup, backup, backup!
