i am a total newbie to linux and am very interested in learning more. i recently downloaded mint and dont really know anything about it. i need help bad!!! i really ned to know exactly how to connect to the internet using my samsung instinct through sprint. the instinct is the only access i have to the net. i can get online on the windows partition but not on the mint partition. if anyone could help it would be greatly appreciated!!!

Althought this topic is a bit old I think it's still valid
With the next Mint (Felicia) this will be much easier I hope as most 3g modems will be recognized immediately
