I have several versions of Mint on my Desktop computer but have decided I like the 64-bit the best, so I put it on my Laptop. One game in particular -- Ancient Empires Lux by Sillysoft, written in Java -- is very choppy, and the sound is often silent and catches up only sporadically. It ran fine on M5-Final. Is there a variant of Java available that would improve It?

Never mind. The Desktop behaved the same despite superior hardware, so I reinstalled M5-Final on the Laptop.
