I think you should know the basics first
RAID0 is really not RAID but striping of data across two disks.
The risk that two disks fails is actually larger than that one disk fails and you will loose all your data. It is not possible to read it unless you send both disks to a data recovery specialist and it is not certain that helps
A failed single disk is almost always possible to read again - and remember it's not only hardware failure but logical failure that breaks things
An yes there are a lot of people interested in this. However this is an upstream problem, we can not fix it unless we skip Ubuntu
