Hi !

Hardware RAID ?
Should be invisible to the OS if it is Hardware RAID ??

Now if you are talking about software RAID in Linux then it's not really possible in Mint at the moment ....

For your own sake - please don't use RAID0
It gives small gains for a high risk for data loss
It is not straightforward to set up consumer raid in Ubuntu based systems
( consumer raid - simple software assisted raid, like the nvidia raid)

What's the difference? or I will break a disk or a disk on raid0?
I think you should know the basics first
RAID0 is really not RAID but striping of data across two disks.
The risk that two disks fails is actually larger than that one disk fails and you will loose all your data. It is not possible to read it unless you send both disks to a data recovery specialist and it is not certain that helps
A failed single disk is almost always possible to read again - and remember it's not only hardware failure but logical failure that breaks things
An yes there are a lot of people interested in this. However this is an upstream problem, we can not fix it unless we skip Ubuntu

PTVDesign,

There is a thread you might want to read through to shed some more light on the issue. It is a bit contentious at times but you may glean a bit more information from it.
