"Help" wanted ... Newbie question

Postby hatrack on Tue Nov 18, 2008 10:54 pm

Hi all !

I'm a newbie with a few weeks' experience of Linux (just "Hardy", so far). Tonight I installed Elyssa on a dual-boot set up with Win2k on the other partition. So far so good ...

I'm just in the process of configuring my Desktop for the first time and I can't seem to find a way to give myself multiple desktops. Naturally, I looked for "Help" but ... I don't have any, except as an icon on some splash screens.

Can some kind soul please tell me how I get to "Help" ?

Many thanks ... Best regards to all ...

Right click on the panel and choose 'Add to panel'

Choose 'Workspace Switcher' fro the menu

For general help in Gnome type alt-f2 then run the command gnome-help
