network issues

Postby barnzi2006 on Tue Dec 09, 2008 11:16 am

I am pretty new to Linux, and not the most computer savvy, but Mint has been fairly easy to figure out.

Here's my problem ... When I first installed Mint (Felicia RC1), I was able to easily network wirelessly with my other computer - which is running windows - and access my printer through that computer. Now all of a sudden I can't access the network. I have a dual boot on this computer, so I checked to see if I can network when it's running windows and it can. But for whatever reason it stopped being able to network when I'm in Mint. I don't know how to fix this and could really use some help figuring out where to start.

Thanks!

Linux Mint is funded by ads and donations.

go to a terminal & type:
Code: Select all
ifconfig

& post the result.
