G'day,
i have changed over from Ubuntu 8.10 to Mint 6 and i did use downloader for x in 8.10 to doqnload files from ftp sites and it was a magic program.

i have done a search of the software portal and i cant find it.

is it not available or am i looking in the wrong place???

search for "d4x" with the package manager.

thats for the tip, did a quick apt-cache search and found it, installing now from shell using

sudo apt-get install d4x
