Help menus

Postby rdonnelly on Sat Dec 20, 2008 11:04 pm

Hi, I am using mint 6. I was wondering being a beta release, does it come with help? When I select help from the menus I get an error:

There was an error displaying help:
Help document user-guide/user-guide.xml not found

I searched the root drive for "user-guide" and it seems it was never installed?

Linux Mint is funded by ads and donations.

You are right - some help has never been installed in order to keep the size of the ISO small enough for a CD
However this may be a link pointing in the wrong direction...
The user guide can be found on our website

We have been talking about how to fix this but the size has precedence ..

Don't fix it if it ain't broken, don't break it if you can't fix it
