vnc and browsing lan

Hello
I just mad an linux mint install on one of my comp in my lan at home.
Other comps are windows comps and one mac.

I wonder what program can i use in linux mint to browse files in my lan?
And also can i use vnc to and from the linux comp?

You could use samba, use advanced search and search for smb.conf and the user name AdvanceIT to get some good advice
There are differences in how Linux and Windows authenticate so you should read up on that a little if it does not work
For VNC use advanced search and search for vnc and the user name scorp123 and you'll get some good advice (although somewhat old) - possibly AdvanceIT has something about it as well

TX... i made a few updates and now i can browse my lan.

I still havent found out how to use vnc though.
Is there any specific vncclient for linuxmint?

To run a VNC server on mint, just go into the control center and click the "Remote Desktop" icon. You can enable the VNC server there. You will also see an explanation on that window saying that the VNC client on linux is called vinagre :)
