I can no longer access files in any of the three partitions on my laptop hard drive. I am running linux Mint on a USB stick. If I use the live CD version of Mint, I can access these drives, but when I use the USB installation of Mint I firstly get the following message:
Cannot mount volume.
Unable to mount the volume '114gb'
mount: according to mtab, /dev/sda3 is already mounted on /media/New Volume.
After a further 30 seconds a second message pops up saying.
Unable to mount 114gb
DBus error org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.NoReply: Did not receive a reply. Possible causes include: the remote application did not send a reply, the message bus security policy blocked the reply, the reply timeout expired, or the network connection was broken.
Can anyone help as I dont want to have re install Mint on the USB drive.
