Thunderbird Print errors, following updates.

Postby T J Tulley on Sun Jan 04, 2009 2:33 pm

My new installation of Felicia is working fine except that I have tried to print an e-mail in Thunderbird, when a message box repeatedly appears saying:
XML Parsing Error: not well-formed
Location: chrome://messenger/content/msgPrintEngine.xul
Line Number 1, Column 21: predicate=""

I wonder whether this may be related to a batch of updates installed by MintUpdate last night - they included several grade 3 for Thunderbird, but as they were all "recommended" I accepted them.

That particular e-mail was a booking confirmation from Now I have tried with a private family e-mail, and precisely the same box appears as soon as I press [Ctrl][P]. I haven't had such problems before.

I copied and pasted the booking confirmation into an (unsaved) OpenOffice document and that printed with no problem.

I shall be grateful for help or advice. Has anyone else had similar experiences?
Yours hopefully -

Theo Tulley.
