Icon question

I actually have 2 icon questions. The first is, is it possible to have the icons in my music folder display album art as opposed to the picture of a folder? My second question relates to the icon displayed on my desktop when I plug in my external drive or thumb drive, or put a DVD in. It always displays in the top left corner of the desktop, and I have to move Cairo Clock to have at it. Not high on the nuisance list, but having it appear somewhere else would be good.

You can change the icon of any folder on the system:
1) Right-click on the folder and choose properties
2) In the properties dialog, on the top-left corner, click on the icon (the icon is a clickable button)
3) Browse to the album art and select it as the new icon of the folder

As for the removable media icon location on the desktop - on my system the icon is always placed exactly where it was when I last unmounted the media. Just move the icon to a different location on your desktop, and make sure you are unmounting it properly by right-clicking on it and choosing "unmount" (never pull out the media without properly unmounting it). Now plug the media back in and the icon should be where it was before the last removal... Make sure it's not where the clock is.
