Beryl makes things disappear SOLVED

Postby drum on Wed Apr 18, 2007 6:56 pm

Just installed beryl 2.0 on Bianca/gnome and the bar with max/min/close buttons has gone from all my programs.
Also gnome terminal comes up as a blank white screen.
There is no border round drop down boxes such as synaptic/search etc.
Any ideas what needs to be fixed please
:? :)

Linux Mint is funded by ads and donations.

If you have nVidia video, go Terminal (or TTY) and execute this...

sudo nvidia-xconfig --add-argb-glx-visuals

Close any open apps, then restart your X session (e.g. Ctrl-Alt-Backspace).

Also check with the Mint Wiki for Beryl setup.
