Internet connection stops working

I'm using LM 6 Main. When I firs boot up my wifi connection works fine, then after a while it won't connect anymore. I reboot and it works again. Don't have this problem with my WinXP Pro machine. Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks.

it is probably a driver problem, most likely a memory leak.
what is the wifi card?
have you applied all the kernel updates?

It is almost definitely a driver issue. I had the same issue with my RTL8187 wireless card. Most likely, you'll have to go ahead and use Ndiswrapper for a driver.
Though, you should supply some more info, most importantly the exact name of you wireless card.

My wifi dongle is the RTL8187b. I'm reluctant to use the Windows driver with ndiswrapper. That program has never worked for me.
