How do you change wallpaper in Linux Mint Fluxbox?

Postby afm93 on Tue Mar 17, 2009 6:53 pm

I just installed the release candidate of Linux Mint Felicia Fluxbox, just to give it a whirl on an old machine. I'm enjoying it but, I want to change the wallpaper, and since I am not familiar with the Fluxbox environment, I wasn't able to change it. Does anyone know how. I searched through almost all the menus and failed.

P.S This is off topic, but when the finished version of fluxbox is released, can I just update it w/o having to reinstall?

This is the first time, I have tried Linux Mint, and I was impressed with how good it was, and it's an RC version too.

Linux Mint is funded by ads and donations.

To change the background using Fluxbox, right click on the desktop.
Come down to Accessories, then down to Wallpaper Chooser.
Works great. You can add wallpapers of your own if you choose.

Thank you. So I guess looking through Fluxbox settings wasn't the way to go. :)
