Hi folks, ive just installed linux mint 6 x64 version on a 4 gig pendrive using this method ...
http://www.pendrivelinux.com/usb-linux- ... n-windows/
I also copied the 3GB casper-rw loop file, and over written the old one.
All my settings can be saved etc, except my gfx settings ..
When i restart my pc my gfx driver has to be downloaded again.
I've even tried sudo nvidia-settings, then saving my X config file, but still wont save ..
Any input would be much appreciated
Cheers Brucey

There is no reason why "something" is not saved when "something else" is unless you have some sort of permissions problem or runs out of space, but then you should have a warning
There is a recent post about making a sticky Mint in the forum somewhere (hmm I think it was this one http://forums.linuxmint.com/viewtopic.php?f=42&t=23516) aand there are other topics about the same in the how to section
