How Do I Copy Files to a USB Drive?

Postby AstroZombie on Mon Mar 30, 2009 1:12 am

I want to copy some pictures to a USB drive, but it won't let me because it says I don't have permission. What do I have to do? Thanks!

I think that the easiest way would be to open a terminal and type : sudo chown -R "your user name" /"usually /media/sd*". (do not type the quotes) then type your password and you should be able to get accesses to the disk and copy/paste.
