KDE Edition Large?

Postby martinjh99 on Thu May 03, 2007 11:32 am

Is the KDE Edition the one with all the mp3/flash ati drivers and such?

Also can the text based "alternate" installer of Ubuntu be used at all?

Linux Mint is funded by ads and donations.

Yes. Only the "Light" edition comes without it.

No. Minter_dk is working on that. This might be ready for Cassandra, or the release after that.

Not just that one edition.

Both of the Full Editions, GNOME and KDE, come with audio and video codecs and plugins (though proprietary display drivers from ATI or nVidia are downloaded and installed in an extra procedure).

The GNOME full edition fits on a CD, the KDE full edition requires a DVD.
