I have been experiencing problems with Gpodder (or any programs for that matter) seeing my Sansa Clip MP3 player.
I used it in Linux mint 6, and had no issues.
Linux mint 7 enters the picture and I am running into problems.
Right now I can see the device mounted, and explore the contents. Yet no stand alone program can see it at all. (gpodder, Rhythm Box) I assume it is something very simple I am overlooking here, but none the less I could use some assistance.

I checked the unanswered posts and ended up in some old posts
Do you still have a problem - if so run lsusb in a terminal and google the ID you get for the Sansa Clip and variations of Mint, Ubuntu and Linux or post here
Don't fix it if it ain't broken, don't break it if you can't fix it
