Ubuntu splash screen

Postby napels7 on Fri May 11, 2007 2:24 pm

Hi
I am happy with Mint on my machine. It is fast, smooth and stable. Since yesterday i get the Mintmusic on startup and the splashscreen from Ubuntu. What is the reason ?

Linux Mint is funded by ads and donations.

Welcome to Mint napels7
The computer God wanted this :)
Seriously, Mint is based on Ubuntu and for some reason (probably spelled config file) there is a reference to the wrong splashscreen in a config file.
But why? I'm sorry but I don't know - it sounds as one of these freak events that just happens....
I have made a note and will try to find out a solution
