linux mint 7 install help

hi there fellow mint users ok i download the mint 7 iso today iam using as i speak what a great distro

well my problem is on the menu when i go to applications then view all theres nothing there
but on live disk it had applications it had sections like internet / office and others any one know why would be a great help

You might be in Favorites. In the upper right hand corner see if you can click All Applications.

I had that problem, and could not see any programs on the MintMenu,but a system update sorted it out.
Try to run system update, then log out and see if it appears when you log back on.
