I have burnt some documents under Vista to a DVD and now I can't read them in Linux. Linux Mint (Felicia) thinks it is a blank DVD. Any help?

Linux Mint is funded by ads and donations.

you could try manually mounting it
mkdir disc
sudo mount /dev/cdrom0 disc
cd disc
ls

Depeding on your setup it could be /dev/cdrom1 or just /dev/cdrom
Also have you verified that there is data on the disc? There is a possibility that you never burned the files to begin with and the disk is actually blank.

On a side note, does anyone know the difference between disc and disk? :?

What format did you burn the disc? If you used UDF format then I believe Linux cannot read this format.
The instructions suggested Windows XP or better, so I installed Linux :)
