(Solved) Use of terminal

Post by rdh61 »

I'm glad "there are no such things as stupid questions". Here's one that is probably a bit stupid though(?): :?

Is there anywhere an idiots' guide to using terminals? List of common commands and there uses?

Thanks. :?

I recommend the INX liveCD - http://inx.maincontent.net/ It's more designed as a showcase of what the "Command-line" can do, even graphically, but it also has a good command-line tutorial, and a menu interface.
