jediphx wrote:Hi I just installed the distro and my E1505 has the Dell 1390 Wlan card. I used the instructions on here to install the Broadcom 43xx driver and that got the card working and seeing my network but it will not connect at all. I have put the wep passphrase in, I but in the key etc but nada. Now I did notice that under the choices it only lists 104bit encryption wep but my network is set up with 128 bit. Can anyone help me i would really like to use this distro.
Each character represents 4 bits of the key. 4 × 26 = 104 bits; adding the 24-bit IV brings us what we call a "128-bit WEP key"

No, if it says its 104bits it is a 128bit WEP key.
One of these should get you up and running.
