Well thanks for all your help.
I had a small amount of sucsess,,,, DVD playing jittery in gnome-mplayer 0.9.4 by using the X11 out put setting... but i get a blue screen in the other options...
Iv started a thread on teh multimedial section to see if any of them have any idears...
