User's $HOME/.dmrc file is being ignored. This prevents the default session and language from being saved. File should be owned by user and have 644 permissions. User's $HOME directory must be owned by user and not writeable by other users.
How do i solve this??? I had this same problem in Ubuntu 9.0.4 and I could not solve it. I have tried to find out how to fix this but I have not found a way!!! This problem made me stop using ubuntu, i dont want to give up on Linux Mint too!
First things first. I strongly recommend you ditch your user name and pick another. Posting your email address in the correct form is just inviting spam and other unwanted attention. It is common practice for people to use machine automated methods of collecting email addresses from forums and other public places.
