Change the order things startup after login

Postby Egorama on Thu Aug 20, 2009 2:46 pm

I've recently installed cdemu, as a result the welcome music now stutters. I figure if I delay CDemu's startup a little longer I might be able to solve this. Is this possible? would it help? How can I achieve this?

Run CDEmu from a startup script that has a sleep command in it, like this:

#!/bin/bash
sleep 5 &&
exec conky
exit

- but replace "conky" with the name of the program. Then you need to make that script (let us call it "myscript.sh") executable with the command "chmod u+x myscript.sh". Then add myscript.sh to the startup programs list.
